Letters of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque

$16.50

The Autobiography of Saint Margaret Mary. Translation of the authentic French text by the Sisters of the Visitation, 1930. Paperback, 4 x 7”, 141 pages.

St. Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690) was a Visitation of Holy Mary sister in the community founded by Sts. Francis de Sales and Jane de Chantal. She was born 25 years after DeSales died and just six after DeChantal did.

Our Lord Jesus made many revelations to Margaret Mary –perhaps forty in 1673-75. These revelations were of the incredibly abundant love of the Heart of Jesus for all of us.
She and her spiritual director, Claude de la Colombière, S.J. became apostles of a devotion to the Sacred Heart that has impacted the Church for several hundred years.

Written under obedience to her superiors, this autobiography reveals the intimate spiritual life of the saint to whom the Lord gave the famous revelations regarding the love of His Sacred Heart.
